Famous for it's sauce and porcelain, Worcestershire is situated in the "heart of England". As well as the city of Worcester with its ancient cathedral (one of the oldest in the country), there are three main towns - Droitwich Spa, Evesham and Pershore, plus there is the spa town of Malvern famous for its spring-water as well as its stunning range of hills with truly breathtaking views from the top. The county has plenty to offer, especially those interested in walking and all things countryside, antiques and has a rich historical heritage evident in many of the county's buildings. Walking: The county has great walking venues all year round and include of course, the Malvern Hills; the Severn Way, which which follows the river through the county; the North Worcestershire Path which will take you through three country parks; the Worcestershire Way with its fifty miles of footpath; to name a few. Antiques: For antiques, make a visit to Broadway in the Cotwolds. Here in this quaint village you will discover one of the largest gatherings of antique shops in the country. This has made it quite a famous tourist attraction in the region. Pottery: You will find the Royal Worcester Porcelain factory and shop near the city of Worcester. Worth a Visit:
