Robin’s Barn comprises on the ground floor, a comfortable beamed open plan living/dining area with wood burning stove and fitted kitchenette and beautiful view.  A spiral staircase leads to a landing, with a double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom leading off it.

Robin’s Barn stands beside the owners’ home and enjoys far reaching views over the beautiful, un-spoilt, Wye Valley and beyond to Offa’s Dyke and the Forest of Dean. There is a wide variety of wildlife including deer, badgers, foxes, buzzards, owls and woodpeckers.

Location and Local Amenities

Robin’s Barn boasts lovely walking from the door into reputedly the oldest deciduous wood in Wales.  Both Offa’s Dyke and the Wye Valley River Walk may be reached on foot.  There is a good pub within walking distance.  There are numerous sites of historic interest, castles built to defend the English Welsh border such as Raglan, Goodrich and Chepstow nearby, Roman remains at Caerleon, and Tintern Abbey just 5 miles away.  The Usk Valley, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Symonds Yat, famous for its resident peregrine falcons, are all within easy reach.

The historic, bustling market town of Monmouth, birth place of Henry V, with restaurants, pubs, a new theatre, cinema and the unique ancient Monnow Bridge, is 5 miles away.  There are two supermarkets in Monmouth and a Marks & Spencer Food store.
