Property Description and Facilities

We are a small family-run establishment offering Bed & Breakfast in comfortable rooms - the majority overlooking the sea - at reasonable prices, including a large en-suite family room.

Our rooms are mostly en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities, H&C wash basins, colour televisions and central heating (as well as comfy beds!).

A light airy ground floor dining room ensures a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your hearty breakfast.

A guest lounge with colour television is available for your use overlooking the garden, and there is free parking for your car on our own forecourt.

At Pebble Beach we are in the enviable position of having the beach directly opposite us, with unrestricted access / sea views, and offering excellent fishing and swimming, and yet we are only a pleasant stroll from the town centre where you can wander round the biggest and best shops in West Sussex.

Worthing is the ideal centre for touring, with pretty country villages and beautiful countryside in the surrounding area.  If you are without transport, there is a bus passing the door which travels regularly between Brighton and beyond (to the East), and Chichester - Portsmouth (to the west).

There is also a mainline station with hourly trains to London and the rest of the country.  If required, transport to and from the railway and coach stations can normally be arranged upon request.

Location and Local Amenities

The beautiful South Downs Walk is on our doorstep, stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne, where you can enjoy the views and walk for as long or as short a distance as you like.

Quaint local villages make interesting visits, and the city of Arundel with the Duke of Norfolk's castle (open to visitors) is a must!

There are also 2 horse racing courses (Fontwell Park and Goodwood), both within an hour's drive from Worthing, and
for horse lovers, there are also riding schools in the local area.

Worthing has plenty of entertainment, with 3 main venues showing first class shows, concerts and plays, and 2 cinemas showing the latest films.

We have a weekly market with approx. 70 stalls selling everything you could wish for.

The beach is shingle and sand and is perfectly safe for swimming (except when the red flag is flying!)

There are 2 local yacht clubs for the enthusiastic sailor, and fishing is allowed off the beach or, for a small charge, off the pier.

Worthing hosts the EBA National Bowls Championships every August in Beach House Park, and also has many bowling greens around the town.

There are 2 main golf courses, with an additional 9 hole course plus pitch 'n putt adjacent to the seafront, approx. a mile from the town centre.

Children are well catered for with a paddling pool, kiddies playground and the Lido with assorted rides.  When it rains, there's an indoor adventure playground.  Just a mile from the town centre is a go kart track adjacent to a large park with a wildfowl lake, and childrens' amusement rides are also at the back of this park.
