We welcome guests to our friendly home in peaceful surroundings. Our three bedrooms on the first floor are reached by an easy staircase.

The two double rooms are ensuite with the largest having an extra single bed for family use. The third bedroom has twin beds with its own private bathroom.

All rooms are furnished to excellent standards and have television, tea and coffee facilities.

Enjoy breakfast in the bright and lofty dining area beside the interesting and colourful garden. We pride ourselves on using fresh and local produce.

Our aim is to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, individual requirements can be catered for with prior notice.

Conveniently situated Number 6 is within easy walking distance of the town centre and yet close to the open country-side and a short distance from the South Downs Way.

Lewes the county town of East Sussex with its Norman Castle is steeped in history reflected in its architecture and historic buildings. The High Street offers a good choice of restaurants and pubs, stocking Harveys Ales brewed in Lewes and highly regarded by real ale connoisseurs. Local shopping is varied with antiquarian bookshops, galleries, antinques, arts and crafts.

Situated 8 miles from the port of Newhaven, 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport, 15 minutes from the City of Brighton and Hove. For opera lovers, Glyndebourne's 2 miles, and followers of the Bloomsbury Set will find Charleston Farmhouse and Monk's House within 5 miles.

Outdoor pursuits include many local golf courses, walking or mountain biking with 90 miles of the South Downs Way to explore. Horse riding, hang gliding, angling, sailing and windsurfing are all in close proximity.

For more leisurely interests there are the magnificent gardens of Wakehurst Place, Nymans and Sheffield Park along with many other attractions.
