The property is in a rural location on the outskirts of Stoke Prior village which boasts a fine public house.  Leominster is a short walk away or 5 minutes by car. Leominster has a bustling atmosphere with market day each Friday, interesting small shops and delicatessens, numerous antique and curio shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Leominster is an unspoilt historic market town set in the scenic countryside of the English marches. It is a renowned antiques centre, and is dominated by the C12th Minster, home to the best-preserved ducking stool in the country.

The surrounding Herefordshire/Shropshire borders have a rich history. You can follow the 'Black and White' trail giving a guide to timber framed buildings in beautiful local villages, and the area is steeped in Herefordshire's farming and cider-making traditions.

The cities of Hereford and Worcester are within easy reach, and the border town of Ludlow, renowned for its excellent 'haute cuisine' restaurants and its well preserved castle, is a short distance to the north.
