La Loge Sagrolle is a family home, that is available to rent for up to 8-12 weeks per year during the warmer months. It is exceptionally well equipped and designed to be an all comforts, home-from-home experience. The house contains antique furniture and original paintings by the artist owner and family. There is plenty of space, even for a large family or group of friends, to each find their "quiet" space to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday in rural France. The large and attractive gardens with above ground pool, courtyard and children's play area, BBQ facilities and garden furniture make it an ideal place to soak up the hot French sunshine, away from crowded beaches. Inside: Large kitchen: table and chairs, electric fan oven (and extractor hood), electric hob, kettle, dresser - all crockery and utensils you could possibly imagine including food processor, and electric steamer. Utility Room: Large family fridge, 2 freezer drawers, tumble dryer, washing machine, butler sink, coffee machine (filter and espresso) Access to... Downstairs shower and toilet with small wash-hand-basin Conservatory: with lovely views over surrounding countryside, and a great place to watch the sunset. Dining Room: Large dinning table, 2 sideboards (well equipped with crockery and cutlery). Toaster, Kettle, etc. Sitting room: UK and French TV, video and DVD players. Well stocked book shelf. Desk. Location: On the borders of the Indre, Cher, Allier and Creuse, this property is approx 20 mins drive from the geographical centre of France at Vesdun Surrounded by rural countryside, green lane walks direct from the door, excellent cycle routes, fishing, lake-swimming, horse-riding and golf within easy reach. There are many chateau and gardens to visit in the local area - some of them particularly beautiful in May and June. (Roses and beautiful herbaceous gardens) La Loge Sagrolle makes an excellent country retreat, offering a high quality home-from-home experience.
