ancient village stands high upon its very own mountain, as shown in the
breathtaking photograph above, and the name of our village beautifully
translates into "Mountain of the Valley".

long day of touring Medieval Castles & Historic Villages or attending

THE PICODON RESIDENCE
Sleeps Five (5) Guests
Master Bedroom with a large double bed and a two person sofa sleeper in
addition to a second bedroom with a comfortable twin sized bed.
Our private and comfortable non-smoking "Picodon Residence" has been
tastefully decorated using Provençale fabrics and ornamental decorations,
eclectic art pieces and a variety of prints and paintings throughout. The
"Picodon Residence" sleeps 2 to 5 people and offers two bedrooms. There is
of course the Master bedroom which offers a spacious double bed, a two
person sofa sleeper, and a chest of drawers. The secondary bedroom is
furnished with a comfortable twin sized bed and bedside table. Further,
there is a Traditional French Kitchen that includes a cook-top, oven,
microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and coffee machine in addition to two
tables with chairs for your relaxation and dining. You will also have one
private bathroom which is fully stocked with fresh, fluffy towels and a
blow dryer for your convenience as well as access to both the shared
garden and laundry facilities. Furthermore, you will have for your
exclusive use both an iron and a ironing board in addition to several
other pleasant amenities that will make your home away from home a
pleasure to stay in. Additionally, cleaning and linen service will be
provided weekly beginning at approximately 10:00a.m.
For your added
comfort and enjoyment a Four Course Meal, featuring the Seasonings and
Flavors of The Provence, will be awaiting you in your Residence the first
day of your arrival.
Furthermore,
depending on your preference, we would like to host either a Welcome
Apéritif with cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres or a Welcome Tea with a
Delighful Baked Good courtesy of "Chef Pierre" the first day of your
arrival so that we may become acquainted and also address any questions
that you may have.

you will have for your exclusive use both an iron and a ironing board in
addition to several other pleasant amenities that will make your home away

ALL ABOUT US
"Manoir du Bonheur" is located in the Historic and Beautiful Village of
Le Poët Laval which is situated very close to the villages of Combes, La
Bégude-de-Mazenc and Pont Barret. Le Poët Laval is also conveniently
located near the villes of Montélimar, Nyons and Grignan. You will find
in all of these locations spectacular sights and attractions, wonderful
dining and plenty of shopping opportunities.
Additionally, Le Poët Laval is conveniently situated just 4 km (1.1
miles) from the endearing village of Dieulefit whose name delightfully
translates into "God Made It". Over the years Dieulefit has opened
itself up to various art forms such as pottery, mosaics, wrought iron
work, glass making, enameled objects and brass making. You will be
happily surprised to find the Workshops, Craftsmen and Stores available
throughout the year.
During your stay at "Manoir du Bonheur" enjoy the magnificent views of
the majestic Mount Rachas Mountains, the glorious sights and smells of
the large Lavender Field which adjoins our property, the Medieval Castle
and Historic Village of Le Poët Laval, which dates back to the twelfth
century, all from our very comfortable and large shared garden.
Further, if you so choose you will have the opportunity to purchase farm
fresh eggs, from our hens, to take home or to enjoy with your morning
breakfast.
During spring and summer we invite you to utilize our outdoor picnic
facilities to enjoy cookouts with a Provençale flair. Relax in the
garden by sitting or strolling amongst our cherry, apple, mirabelle,
peach, kaki, fig and coing trees in addition to our seasonal vegetable
garden. And of course, if you are so inclined we will be happy to
direct you to the delightful trio of swimming pools in nearby Dieulefit
or the Tennis Court in Le Poët Laval.
