background in the industry, with something we believe to be a unique
setting, making your stay an experience not just a visit. |
Our historic grade II listed hotel dates from 1770 when it was originally part of the larger New Inn built during the height of the Georgian spa era. Subsequently bought by wine merchant Job Hodgkinson in the 1830's, the large oval sign outside still bears his name and much of the ground floor interior remains intact from this time. Great care has been taken to restore the remainder of the building to its former Victorian splendor whilst satisfying the needs of the discerning traveller. |
