Buxton is the main tourist accommodation provider for the Peak District that is the World's second most visited National Park. The reason being is the beautiful scenery and the variety of walks. It also has the world famous Buxton Opera House that has several world famous event each year such as the Opera Festival in July and the Gilbert & Sullivan festival in August.

Buxton is the best place to stay as it is central to the Peak District and major Cities such as Manchester and Stoke and also offers more places to eat and drink then elsewhere in the Peak Distict.
