Property Description and Facilities

Swallow Cottage is a Charming 18th Century Cumbrian Barn conversion. 3 miles from the market town of Penrith, Ullswater and the M6 junction 40.

The location is ideal is our constant feedback for exploring the lakes and the beautiful Eden Valley which runs to the North and East of Penrith.


 

Swallow Cottage is personally maintained by the Flemings. Village Pub food in the village as well as an organic Farm shop. Exposed beams, well equipped cottage with central heating gives a warm friendly atmosphere on your return to Swallow cottage after a fulfilling day.
 

There is parking for 2/3 cars

Location and Local Amenities

Penrith is an attractive Market town with a vibrant trade. The village of Stainton lies 3 miles west towards Keswick. The village has a pub and is in the good food guide

Rheged visitor centre 1 mile away offers Britains Mountaineering exhibition and a range of art and craft shops. It also has an IMAX cinema.

Ullswater is a beautiful valley and has the Steamer to ride on aswell as offering a beautiful landscape in which to walk or view. For Children there is Quad Biking, Horse riding, water sports all within easy reach

There are all the local amenities expected of a Town in penrith, Golf, Swimming.
