Advertising Terms and Conditions
By
completing an application you are agreeing to the following Terms and
Conditions:
1.
Your
property(ies) must be privately owned and of a high standard of accommodation and your
advertisement text must be a true and accurate reflection of the property,
facilities and location.
2.
Your
application form must be completed in UK English (unless otherwise agreed) and accompanied by digital images
in JPEG rgb format minimum width 250 pixels at minimum 72dpi or higher or a web
address supplied that Holiday-Web selects photos from. Digital
images should be saved at lowest compression setting (highest quality) and
should be accompanied by captions. All images supplied must be the property and
copyright of the advertiser or have written permission to use the images in
their advertising material.
3. Your advert is accepted once the above terms have been met and will be published on our website approximately one week from receipt, and will remain on this site for 12 months. Adverts are renewable, but the price may increase in subsequent years.
4. You will be contacted by email to inform you of when your advert is published and ready for checking for any errors. It is your responsibility to check the advertisement details carefully and to advise holiday-web.co.uk immediately of any errors. There is a 14-day time limit to any errors being notified.
5. Two weeks prior to the expiry date of the advert you will be contacted by email to establish if you wish to continue advertising your property(ies) at the cost of £30 per year. If you wish to continue advertising, you will be sent a Pro-forma invoice that must be paid prior to the start date. Cheques can be in GB Sterling made payable to J. Waller or Euro cheques (France Banks only) email for details. We can also accept payment by credit card using PayPal (if this method is chosen there is a 5% surcharge).
6. The fee is for advertising on the holiday-web.co.uk website during the period 1st Jan to 31st December. All renewal dates are 1st January each year. The fee is inclusive of the initial set-up and web marketing of the advert. From this point onwards we are unable to offer a refund on cancelled advertisements for any reason. To transfer an advertisement to another party if the property ownership changes is possible.
7.
All
confirmations / communications will be conducted by email. All property owners
should take care in submitting forms that their email contact is correct and
functioning.
8. Your email address may be displayed on the site. For full page adverts there is an email ‘form’ for email contact which protects your email address from virus attachments and “spam”.
9.
Holiday-web.co.uk
reserve the right to reject or amend any advert copy to either enhance your
advert and / or to maintain the general structure of the site.
10. Your advert will be indexed by its location, then its type, then by price.
11. Holiday-web.co.uk
may display owners web site address, but they will not be a clickable link.
12. Once
material has been submitted, edited and posted on the holiday-web.co.uk web
site, it becomes the property of holiday-web.co.uk and must not be copied from
the website without written permission.
13. Changes
to prices, rental dates, address and contact details may be made at any time
throughout the year by email and are made free of charge. It is the
responsibility of the property owner to check these changes have been made
accurately.
14. Changes
other than those mentioned above may incur a charge based on the amount of
work involved. A quotation will be provided once we have received by email the
amendments to be made. Payment for these must be made prior any work
commencing.
15. Renewals: Full page
adverts are renewable on 1st January each year for a 12 month period. Anyone
taking a new advert part way through the year will still have to renew the
following January 1st. An email
may be sent to you one month before your renewal date. You must respond to
this email promptly if you wish to continue advertising on our site.
16. You will
be invoiced for the advert(s) two weeks prior to renewal and payment must be
received on or before the renewal date, otherwise the advert will be removed
form our web site.
17. To re-instate an advert after the renewal date has lapsed will incur a further charge of £15 to reset the advert.
18. The
property owner must inform holiday-web.co.uk of any price and or
date amendments to their advertisement at the end of each year or as this
becomes appropriate.
19. If
holiday-web.co.uk are not able to provide the level of service promised for any
reason, including but not limited to war, acts of God, negligence or service
outages, neither holiday-web.co.uk or its owners can be held liable for any
costs beyond the pro-rated costs paid by the client for which the services were
not provided.
20.
Property complaints: In the event that we should receive 2 or more complaints of the same
nature about your property we reserve the right to suspend the advertisement
pending investigation. If the complaints are found to be justified the
advertisement will be removed and no refund will be given.
21. VAT is not currently applied, but may apply to prices in the future.
22. Holiday-web.co.uk
reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions and charges associated
with any service offered on the site without prior notification. Any changes
made to the cost of advertising will become effective for all advertisers at
the renewal / start date of your advert.
23. By using
or continuing to use the services of holiday-web.co.uk you agree to these terms
and conditions.

Every effort is being made to
make this site as functional and attractive as possible both for our
advertisers and for visitors to the site. We are happy to receive any
suggestions or comments by email that would help us to improve the site. As the
site grows we will be adding search facilities and other tools to make the
process as easy as possible for a visitors to navigate and find their ideal
property. In time we will also be adding tools to allow advertisers to update
and amend their advert details online free of charge. We will notify all
advertisers when this facility becomes available.
