THE SOUTH WEST:England’s largest and most rural region is made up of nearly 24 thousand square kilometres and has fewer than five million residents. The landscape is varied and very beautiful. There are two National Parks (Dartmoor and Exmoor), twelve Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to a large proportion of England's first World Heritage Sites, "The Jurassic Coast". The South West is a popular holiday destination attracting visitors from around the world to marvel at its historical and varied landscape and the attractions it holds.
