A 16th century Cotswold coaching Inn that has kept its friendly welcome to travellers and all who stop. Open log fires stone walls and oak beams along with leather wing back chairs, go to make our Inn a most comfortable and relaxing place to stay and to stop at.
We specialise in fresh fish and use local vegetables and traditionally reared poultry and meats, backed up by an abundance of seasonal game. Our style of cooking varies to the produce in season but we come into the category of European traditional and combine oriental flavours to spice, and make the menu more exciting.

The inn has 10 individually styled en-suite rooms that have all the modern furnishing needed to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Situated in rural Cotswolds we are perfect for site seeing those most beautiful Cotswold villages and towns such as Oxford, Cheltenham, Woodstock, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Burford and many more little villages that could appear on the front of any post card.
The bar and cellar are well stocked and we have a major following for our large stock of single malt whiskeys, red and white wines. The bar is well known also for its unique lay out where you can also enjoy first class bar food and great friendly professional service.
