Property Description

Use of the following facilities:

Tom & Barbara own and run this small friendly B&B, where many of our guests return on a regular basis. Tom was a chef in the RAF and it's his hearty breakfast that will set you up for the day!
Crowndale is a totally non smoking hotel.

All double & family rooms are ensuite. The single room has an en-suite toilet and a private shower room on the next floor (a towelling robe is provided). All rooms have colour remote controlled TV, complimentary beverage tray, radio/alarm clock and hairdryer.

We have 3 double rooms, 3 Family rooms consisting of a double bed and a single which can also be used as twin or double rooms, plus 1 single room.

We have a comfortable guests lounge with TV, video, books, jigsaws and games.

We have a car park and also unrestricted parking on the road outside.

Location and local amenities

Torquay has such a lot to offer in all seasons as many attractions are open all year, such as the famous Model Village and Paignton Zoo.The winters are mild and the summers are generally long.

There are so many things to do, so there's always something to suit young and old alike. From the safe sandy beach to coastal walks, ancient caves to steam trains, the model village to castles and so the list goes on!
Dartmoor is only a short drive away with its spectacular scenery and pretty villages. 

Our main shopping street, where you will find most of the popular high street shops, leads straight down to the harbour, where you can sit and relax outside one of the many cafes and watch the world go by. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and clubs to suit all tastes.
The Riviera Centre has a wave pool with a slide and a pool side cafe, as well as a gym, sauna and restaurant.
The Princess Theatre is situated on the seafront and has many famous shows and stars appearing there.
Ferries leave the harbour throughout the summer going to Brixham, Dartmouth and along the coast. Fishing trips can also be booked.
A large number of sports are catered for ie cricket, rugby, golf, pitch and putt, bowls and tennis.
There are regular bus services to Brixham, Paignton, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Exeter.
